Greg Heichel Biography

I joined the U.S. Navy in 1982 and retired as a Chief Boatswains Mate in 2002. Qualifications include, Craft master, Master Navigator, Safety Officer, QA Officer, Combat Information Officer, Conning Officer, Officer of the Deck, Underway Replenishment Specialist and the list goes on. I was stationed aboard thirteen ships ranging from Troop Transports, Oilers, and Battleships to Aircraft Carriers. I completed three world cruises, nine Mediterranean Cruises, 2 Unitas Cruises, (West Africa and South America), one North Atlantic and several Caribbean Cruises.

2002 – 2006: I work at Atlantic Coastal Clearing and Grading, Co. in Chesapeake, Virginia as the Equipment Manager. I scheduled and supervised all repairs, services and under carriage turns and replacements on 240 pieces of equipment including 31 excavators, 46 bulldozers, 7 track loaders, 4 wheeled loaders, 2 Feller Buncher’s, 2 Log loaders, 14 semi trucks and trailers, (log and dump), and several smaller pieces of equipment, i.e.: pick-up trucks, water pumps, chain saws, ect.

2006- Present: I was hired as the General Manager for J.M.C. Concrete Cutting, Inc. at which time we had four cut trucks and 4 employees. We cut mostly commercial properties and do not exempt ourselves from residential and real estate projects. Job include: the Reunion Grand Hotel construction, Prime Outlets, renovation, I-4 slab replacements, Nascar Café in Universal Studios, several Disney projects and tenant build outs.

In 2009 I started “On-Site Construction Services, LLC”, and coupled with J.M.C. Concrete Cutting, Inc. We now successfully bid Federal government jobs as a “Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business”. This is when we added 4 trucks and 14 full time employees’s and started a full demolition service including roll-off and dumpster services. Some jobs we were awarded and have completes since are The Peabody renovation (975 rooms), 4 Planet Fitness locations from Lake Mary, Fl. To Miami, two Wal-Mart renovations 1 in Sarasota Springs, Fl. and the other in Spring Hill, Fl. And 1 in Spring Hill, Fl.

Current jobs are Disney’s magic Kingdom front entrance concrete replacement, (100,000 square feet), Sam’s Club in East Orlando, Mayfair village renovation in Jacksonville, (12 apartment buildings), Disney’s Port Orleans renovation, (15 building) and Universal Studios property wide concrete replacement.
